From User Feedback to a New Chapter: How Fulfill Flap Tote Has Evolved

Since its launch, the Fulfill Flap Tote has become one of BAMPO’s beloved signature designs. With its spacious interior, clean silhouette, and versatility for work, travel, and everyday moments, it has become a trusted companion for many users.

For BAMPO, a classic design is not something that stays unchanged. It is something that continues to grow.

To better understand how Fulfill Flap Tote fits into modern lifestyles, we reached out to users who have experienced the bag firsthand and gathered their honest feedback from everyday use.

These users come from different professional and personal backgrounds, including consultants who move between meetings and projects, lawyers who carry documents and devices throughout their workdays, business founders managing their own ventures, and women balancing different roles in their daily lives.

Although their routines are different, they share similar expectations for an everyday bag: enough space for laptops, documents, and daily essentials, while remaining comfortable enough to accompany commuting, business trips, and journeys.

These real experiences became the starting point for the next evolution of Fulfill Flap Tote.

Discovering New Needs Through Real Experiences

Through these conversations, two key areas stood out.

The first was flexibility.

Many users loved the original refined hand-carry design of Fulfill Flap Tote, while hoping for more options for different situations, from hands-free commuting to easier travel days.

The second was weight.

As a spacious work bag, Fulfill Flap Tote needed to carry laptops, documents, and daily essentials while maintaining its distinctive design character.

To better understand the market, we studied leading large-capacity work bags and found that many similar designs typically range from 900g to 1200g.

This led us to an important question:

Could a structured, spacious bag become lighter while preserving the design qualities that make it distinctive?

It was not a simple change.

Reducing weight required us to rethink every detail, from materials and structure to the overall balance of the bag. Removing too much could affect its original character, while adding more support would work against the goal of creating a lighter experience.

Our design team continued testing and refining every element, searching for the right balance between aesthetics and comfort.

From the first concept to the final version, the team created three prototypes and completed three rounds of design iterations.

After continuous refinement, the new generation of Fulfill Flap Tote was finally completed.

The New Fulfill Flap Tote: A Classic Design with Greater Freedom

The updated Fulfill Flap Tote now features a detachable shoulder strap, offering more flexibility for different moments.

Carry it by hand for a polished look, wear it on the shoulder for everyday commuting, or switch to a crossbody style when traveling, shopping, or when you need to keep your hands free.

One bag, designed to move with every part of your day.

The updated Fulfill Flap Tote has also achieved a lighter design while maintaining its original shape and capacity.

The previous version weighed 954g without the shoulder strap. Through structural improvements, the new version has been reduced to 852g without the shoulder strap, and 923g with the shoulder strap included.

This optimization allows the bag to remain spacious and recognizable while offering a more comfortable carrying experience.

Whether carrying a laptop to the office or packing essentials for a journey, the new Fulfill Flap Tote is designed to fit naturally into different lifestyles.

Beyond weight optimization, we also upgraded the internal support material.

The improved material enhances durability and structure, helping the bag maintain its quality through everyday use while preserving the clean and sophisticated character of Fulfill Flap Tote.

To enhance everyday functionality, the new Fulfill Flap Tote features an added metal ring closure inside.

It helps keep important belongings securely in place and reduces the possibility of items falling out, offering greater peace of mind throughout the day.

From the first generation of Fulfill Flap Tote to the updated version, the changes go beyond individual details.
