At a Fresh Beauty event in Los Angeles, Chinese-American actress Lucy Qiu wore the unreleased Small Glow Hobo (Dong-Cloth).

One of the defining details of this bag is its use of Dong cloth as a key material.

Dong cloth is a traditional handwoven and naturally dyed fabric made by the Dong people. From weaving and dyeing to repeated hammering, washing, and drying, the process involves multiple stages and takes around eight months to complete. These techniques have long been part of everyday life in Dong communities and have been passed down through generations of artisans.

For the Small Glow Hobo, we brought Dong cloth into a contemporary hobo silhouette, exploring how a traditional material can also become part of today’s wardrobes and everyday life.
